Maker Club

Join us for an evening of gaming, creation and exploration. Share your ideas, discover opportunities to collaborate and be inspired by others! Bring your creative projects and work alongside other makers during this weekly meet-up at the Gympie Library makerspace. Learn how to use the 3D printers, sewing machines or Cricut to create your own masterpiece. Have a go at virtual reality or the green screen. New and experienced makers are welcome. Suitable for ages 15 -17.

First 5 Forever Storytime

First 5 Forever helps prepare children for school and develops:

  • good listening skills and a love of reading and learning
  • motor skills
  • memory, sequencing and rhyming skills
  • socialising, creativity and family fun.

This is done through singing, rhymes, stories, and craft. These free sessions are suitable for babies and preschool children.

The sessions are held at:

Gympie Regional Libraries provide a great range of resources you can use at home. You can borrow 30 items that include books, DVDs and magazines for 3 weeks. Your children can have their own library card. Speak to one of our staff to join them up.
However, we are more than just books. We have many other services and resources designed for children and youth.
