If you want to learn how to get started online and be confident using computers, tablets and smartphones, then it’s time to Be Connected. These short courses include face-to-face training, online teaching and how-to guides.
The short courses cover many topics such as:
- Internet banking
- Safety on the internet
- Searching family history
- Finding out what an app is and how to use it
- How to watch TV online
You can also book a one-on-one half hour session with one of our friendly library staff members.
If you want to learn from home, the Be Connected site lets you ask questions on any topic with easy to understand answers.
You can go also find short courses on the LinkedIn Learning website. You can access them for free using your library number (under the barcode on your card) and your pin (six digits with your date, month and year of birth).
