Volunteer at the Libraries

We are grateful for the work our volunteers do for the libraries and community.

Volunteers help with:

  • Home library service
  • Local history
  • Makerspace
  • Programs and events.

Home Library Service

Our home library service volunteers help people who can’t visit the library. This might be because they are older, frail, or have a disability.

This service has been going for over 50 years. Volunteers choose library materials for our home library service members.

The Makerspace has:

  • Virtual reality hardware and software
  • 3D printers
  • Robotics
  • Sewing machines.

Volunteers help with the equipment. You can also help users, get the room ready for use, or clean up afterward.
