	Learn computing, technology, maths, work skills and languages for free. Includes lessons, videos and games.

Online Databases

Are you doing some research and not sure where to begin? This list is a great starting point. For some databases you will need to use your State Library of Queensland membership card. If you don’t have one just follow the link to sign up: Become a member | State Library Of Queensland.

	AustLit is a free database on Australian literature and storytelling. It includes full text, exhibitions and rich content. Members can log in.
	State Library of Queensland provides access to the Australia and New Zealand Newsstream. This includes articles published in the The Gympie Times online from 18 August 2009-onwards.
	State Library of Queensland provided access to Gale Health and Wellness Resource Centre Find up-to-date health information from journals and reference titles.
	State Library of Queensland provided access to every issue of National Geographic Magazine and Traveller Magazine plus books, images, maps and videos.
	State Library of Queensland provided access to National Geographic Kids. Kid-friendly content on many subjects including English, language, arts, social studies, science and more.
	State Library of Queensland provided access to Music Online with the ability to download up to five songs a day.
	Read free newspapers and magazines from around the world with Press Reader. You will need a State Library of Queensland membership.
	A collection of newspapers from the Times (London) from 1785 to 2014. You will need a State Library of Queensland membership.
